CHIEF AUDIT EXECUTIVES: GRC’S UNDERSERVED STAKEHOLDERS
Reliant was founded to address a largely underserved segment of the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) market: Chief Audit Executives (CAEs). In 2002, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act spawned a myriad of technology vendors claiming to “automate compliance”, yet the costs and complexities of internal audit and audit preparation continue to increase. A study published by Foley and Lardner shows that between FY2001 and FY2006, average audit fees for public companies of all sizes have increased 189% to 310%. For larger companies, which must comply with 37 industry regulations on average, and operate dozens of individual financial systems, enterprise audit costs and CAE responsibilities are snowballing.
"Reliant has automated and integrated all of the key components of auditing, giving us a dynamic framework for managing our internal controls and the ability to have true continuous auditing." Bill Hagerman, Executive Director of Internal Audit
THE RELIANT APPROACH TO AUDIT AUTOMATIONReliant manages the audit process the same way you do: beginning with Risk Assessment, which drives the Audit Plan and Work Programs, which define in-scope Control Testing, which generates test data that is used to further evaluate risks. Reliant uses an integrated, Continuous Monitoring engine to feed real-time information about business transactions and operational conditions into the audit process, helping you to quickly and easily identify control violations as they occur. The results of work program steps, control tests and risk assessments are all automatically updated in the Dynamic Risk Framework. While other approaches may help to automate one or two of these processes individually, only Reliant has created an end-to-end solution for the entire audit process. We call this continuous risk management for auditors.
